Spring Cove, Manly – where luxury meets nature
MudgeCorp was selected to construct what can only be described as a truly remarkable medium density residential dwelling at Spring Cove, Manly. Site Manager for the project is Angus Fernance. This is Angus’ first major project as Site Foreman since starting with MudgeCorp as an apprentice just over 5 years ago. He has been a rising star at MudgeCorp, winning the Apprentice of the Year Award in 2012 from the MBA. He is working closely with our Senior Project Manager Matthew Forsythe on this project.
Spring Cove Estate at Manly is a boutique collection of 17 houses, 16 apartments and 5 townhouses all discreetly located across a tiered coastal backdrop. Each spectacular home is designed to capture wonderful harbour and bushland views while seamlessly integrating with the natural environment.
Set across more than 7 acres of rare and pristine Sydney harbour front land, Spring Cove Estate is a place of true natural splendour. Its rich landscape of architecturally designed eco-sensitive homes is setting new benchmarks in sustainable coastal design.
Once part of the historic Archbishop's Residence and garden estate, magnificent trees (now over a hundred years old) still stand on the property today. Surrounding the homes, native trees blur the lines between the Estate's grounds and the National Park that hugs its eastern border.
Each house has its own character and is individually designed to suit its specific location. While no two homes are the same, they all share a contemporary and environmentally responsible architectural theme.
According to RP Data, the median house price in Manly currently stands at $1.72 million, a 16.2% increase in the past 5 years, while the median apartment price in Manly is $760,000, up 17.8% in the past 5 years.
Joint developers of the property, the Denwold Group and Oakstand Property Group released stage 1 of the property in September last year for sale off the plan. This stage consisted of sixteen 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and five 2-storey townhouses. Following strong demand for the first release of apartments and townhouses, the second release of 17 luxury homes has now been fast tracked.
Construction of the property is on schedule having commenced in January 2016 with expected completion at the end of the year.
